Movie Review : Devil (2010)

Mr. Syamalan is back people! Maybe not yet as director but at least he's back as writer. He write something good this time, something that far much better than his work for the past few years. Thriller genre is his best and this time he write a movie titled 'DEVIL'

Devil is about 5 strangers stranded in one elevator but not just that, one of them is devil. Devil that ready to take their soul without knowing the reason why. Yes for almost one and a half hour the main set is on the elevator but that's the fun. Small place always know how to bring out the worst in people. Not only give stress to the people inside it but also to the audience. Slowly but sure they build suspense in such a tiny area. Devil gets what devil wants. 

The credit of course not all for M. Night Syamalan but also the the director John Erick Dowdle because he know how to manage this small scope into something big, something thrilling, something scary yet not boring.
